Your privacy is highly valued at Zella Medical Travel, LLC (“ZELLA”). Voluntary Data Collection: We collect your Personal Information (and that of your travel companions) that is voluntarily provided to us either directly by you, your employer, or your travel sponsor, as applicable, in order to provide you with the products and services you have requested. In most cases, it consists of your full legal name, address, email address, and phone numbers. We may also collect your employer or sponsor’s name, passport number, driver’s license or other government-issued identification number, date of birth, gender, arrival and departure locations and times, airline, hotel or car rental frequent loyalty numbers, seat preferences, known traveler and global entry number, and other related medical travel information, such as special health accommodations and requests. We may use your Personal Information to provide you with medical travel-related information, including providing you with responses to requests for medical travel services, medical travel notifications, medical travel confirmations and updates, as well as managing your account, processing bills, and/or personalized mailings (electronic or otherwise) or other communications that you consent to receive, and to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activity, resolve disputes and collect fees.

Automatic Data Collection Technologies: We may collect other information, such as your IP address, search terms, and site pages when you visit us online. The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include cookies and log data.

We do not currently share your information that we collect for preference-based advertising purposes, and we do not currently have any plans to do so.

Who De We Share Your Information with, and Why?

Travel Vendors and Suppliers: We share your personal information as necessary with highly regarded third-party vendors, preferred suppliers with which ZELLA has alliances, and non-affiliated third party vendors and service providers which provide certain services or functions requested by you and/or which fulfill your requested transactions, including but not limited to, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, safari camps, event sites, tour operators, ground transportation providers, and car rental companies, as well as service providers who assist with our business operations (such as fraud investigations, bill collection and affiliate and award programs).

Email Communications: We may share your email contact information with our affiliate partners to assist with marketing our products and services. You may unsubscribe from receiving future commercial email communications from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of any marketing emails. However, we reserve the right to send you transactional emails such as customer service communications in connection with the products or services you have purchased.

Transfer of Assets: We do not sell or lease personal information or provide a list of our customers to third parties. However, if another entity acquires us or all (or substantially all) of our assets, the information we have about you will be transferred to and used by this acquiring entity. Also, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information may be considered an asset of ours and as such may be sold or transferred to third parties.

Third-Party Privacy Policies:  Once your Personal Information has been shared with a non-affiliated third party in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we cannot control how that third party collects, uses or shares your Personal Information and as such, we will thereafter have no responsibility for its use. Protection of your Personal Information in the possession of any such third party shall be governed by the privacy policy of that third party. We strongly encourage you to read the privacy policies linked in third party websites, as ZELLA’s privacy policy does not pertain to these third parties and these third parties may have policies that differ from ZELLA’s privacy policy.

Minors

Children:  ZELLA does not sell medical travel or other services for purchase by anyone under the age of 18 years old. This Website has not been designed nor intended to be used by anyone under the age of 18 years old. Accordingly, this Website should not be used by anyone under the age of 18 years old. ZELLA specifically requests that persons under the age of 18 years old do not use this Website or submit Personal Information to the Website. ZELLA does not knowingly collect information from minors under 18 years old.  If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any personally identifiable information to ZELLA.
